Introduction

There has been quite a buzz on the internet lately concerning a new scheme of generating cryptocurrency. If you know me well I make it a duty to research on this types of money making programs just to see if it is something I can do or not and then I advice people thereafter.

The first thing that came to mind when I heard about this was my experience with a pyramid scheme I joined late last year called zarfund. I joined Zarfund hoping to become a millionaire out of it only to discover that I am being played.

Cointherum had that zarfund stench that prompted me to research and make a review about it.

It seems to be all over social media, promoted by affiliate marketers so I guess you are here to make an inquiry about it so you can know if it is something worth your time.

I prepared this cointherum review just for you hopefully, it is enough to make you decide.

What is Cointherum?

Cointherum is a pyramid scheme that involves the donation of bitcoin cryptocurrency. It is a donation to donation platform where you give and receive bitcoins.

It is basically a money gifting forum and this type of forums are illegal in some countries like the United State which explains why the founders can not be identified.

The company’s domain name was registered privately onMay 27th, 2017 with no other information of whoever owns or run the business.

It is an MLM type of business structure but unlike most

MLM business it trades on nothing. Money exchanges hands for nothing. It involves the investment of bitcoins with a promise of a 200% returns in 90 days.

It trades with cryptocurrency. I did not take the time to search for other types of digital currency it trades with but I know for certain that Bitcoin is its major currency exchange. In case you are wondering how it works, hold on it is coming in a bit.

How Does It Work?

Like I said earlier it is a donation to donation platform where cash is being gifted, the idea is to give and receive bitcoins. You give a minimum of 0.01btc which is about $50 and then receive 5% as earnings in 90days.

The marketing advantage of Cointherum is its compensating policy. You are told as an affiliate to join the plan and earn up to 200% at the end of a 90 day period but you can only withdraw at the end of this period if you reinvest into it again with the same amount or more than the initial investment.

Also, you should note that you joining make you an affiliate meaning you can only earn when you refer more people. as said on their platform “refer people and earn cryptocoins, participate in our trade and you can also nominate people to earn 100 bitcoins per day according to your plan!”

As an affiliate, you are required to refer two people on the first level and they introduce two people each as well, making it four people in the second stage. This is how the pyramid grows bitcoin is shared and grows a well.

Affiliate earns on each stage. they receive a binary commission as thus

  • Invest 0.05 BTC and receive a 5% binary commission.
  • Invest0.1 BTC and receive a 6% binary commission.
  • Invest 0.3 BTC and receive a 7% binary commission.
  • Invest 0.5 BTC and receive a 8% binary commission.
  • Invest 1 BTC and receive a 10% binary commission.
  • Invest 2 BTC and receive a 14% binary commission.
  • Invest 4 BTC and receive a 15% binary commission.
  • Invest 10 BTC and receive a 16% binary commission.
  • Invest 15 BTC and receive a 17% binary commission.
  • Invest 20 BTC and receive a 20% binary commission.
  • Invest 30 BTC and receive a 22% binary commission.
  • Invest 50 BTC and receive a 23% binary commission

PROS/CONS Of Cointherum

Pros:

  • Good to market as people tends to like the cash gifting idea.
  • Bitcoin is a phenomenon marketing strategy

Cons:

  • There are no guarantees.
  • It is a pyramid scheme.
  • It operates like an MLM business which makes it difficult to market.
  • It is not a real business because there are no means of exchange.
  • It is not sustainable.
  • It will crash with time

MY FINAL OPINION.

Cointherum is another scam just as the topic of this article says and it should not be something you should focus on because it will do you strong. It is another Ponzi scheme invented by its leaders so they can earn money from being the initial investors.

You see the thing about this type of schemes is that it is made up for the sole purpose of cashing out with people’s money. The fact that there is no form of goods or product being exchanged for money makes it easy for the creators to divert people’s money into their own account just like in zarfunds.

If they are certain about the business why isn’t there any form of identity? The use of bitcoin as a legal tender makes it even difficult to trace the individuals behind it when it all goes south.

Its affiliates can come here all they want to give me reasons why it is not a scam but the truth is that they themselves are also trying to make their money back so I can understand their desperation.

Verdict:

If you came here with the questions is cointherum a scam? Is cointherum legit or a scam? Or you just wanted a review on cointherum

On that note, my final verdict is that it is another Bitcoin pyramid scheme scam that is running around the internet.

CONCLUSION.

This was not to slander anyone but more like to warn people away from this type of schemes that enriches others without making good money for yourself.

I am an affiliate marketing. I use the internet as leverage to promote other people’s product.

I earn commissions on every sale directed through my affiliate link.

This is a system that makes billions of dollars for thousands of marketers online market all over the world. It is not difficult it is something anyone can do.

You do not have to have a fancy qualification to be successful online. I can tell you that for free.

My university qualification did not get me far but I am good anyway.

I can help you in learning everything that involves affiliate marketing, the same things that will help you in running any form of business online even if it’s not affiliate marketing.

Jimmy.

  1. It is very true that your first experience is very important. Just like you, my first internet money making was some kind of pyramid scheme. It is very good to know that the Cointherum is another scam just like the others. I came across it a few days ago and I’m happy I took my time as in the mean time I came across your article. great article, by the way, Do you know about any other scams out there?

    1. it is another scam as far as I am concerned and I will never encourage anyone to join it. Losing money can be hasty broken trust me I know.

There are thousands of people looking to start money out of people, it is only my duty to stop them.

      Good looking out bro

  2. Nice review thank you for the info. I was thinking about looking into this program but I didn’t fully understand it. I think a lot of people are looking to invest in what ever the new product or program is so a lot of people will end up wasting time and money

    1. it’s a good thing there are alternatives like wealthy affiliate as I have made known in this article. It’s really up to them.

      Thanks.

  3. Bitcoin is gaining popularity and so is the donation style of business, such as gofundme. However, they are still new to the public, and with little information available, people can get easily trap into the scheme when opportunities are presented. Great insights, a well-explained and honest review. Thank you.

    1. Excellent point but however, the idea behind gofundme is somewhat different as it is more of a charity platform for voluntary donations without expecting anything in return.
Hope to see you more here Kyoko.
      Thanks.

  4. Hi Jimmy,

Bitcoin is a very clever and well oiled system, that so far no-one has been able to clone. I have read extensively on the makings and possible maker of Bitcoin. So, to me, anything new that comes along those lines has to be a scam. As you say yourself, Cointherum is a pyramid scheme, therefore it is illegal in the first place, Bitcoin is not!.

Since the popularity of Bitcoin many have tried their luck with spin offs but no-one has succeeded to come anywhere near. One thing that I love about Bitcoin is that it annoys the tax man terribly. Is it true that unlike other payment sites like PayPal, etc., the tax man has no access to peoples’ transactions with Bitcoin?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best wishes,

    John

    1. A Bitcoin wallet is a smart way entreprenuers use to boycott tax settlements. All they need do is secure transactions using bitcoin and it’s all good.

Just like you a lot of investors know how valuable bitcoin is and how much it is still growing over the years. Scam sites like cointherum emerge on a daily basis through pyramid schemes, so they can gather enough for themselves. Sadly, some people still fall for this.

You seem to have an interest in bitcoin, John. Can you share?

      Thanks,

      Jimmy.
